I am think about upgrading my soundforge 6 to the latest version soundforge 10 just wonding if its worth the upgrade... i currently using Sonar X1 for my mastering needs. im using Izotope Ozone 4 for mastering does it works better in sound forge 10 or is this an unnecessary upgrade |

Odd that nobody ever answered this. If you own ozone 4, you probably gain very little by upgrading. This is all off the top of my head but the biggest differences are: Izotope mastering suite which you already have a full version of. Noise-reduction plugin (not sure if that w asincluded in 6) izotope dithering (that may also be included in Ozone 4) better time stretching with the lite version of pitch n time built in redbook authoring ability there are other things but overall, your current soundforge combined with the ozone you own should be as good as using SF10. btw, i own SF10 and Sonar X1. I prefer to master in SF10, but i don't own Ozone separately. |
