Subject:Encoder dvd architect pro and sound forge pro

Hi guys. Maybe this is a bit convoluted. I've made a movie in vegas pro 11, then opened it in sound forge pro 10.
I applied 1 of the mastering presets and attempted to save in a c 3 format. Apparently I need to purchase the encoder, correct?
If I do that and save that file as an ac 3 it will automatically load into dvd architect correct?

Also, it seems to me that sound forge pro modern version should support ac 3 already.
That is with out having to pay for another plug.
No?
