Surround Bass Management in Vegas?

As Vegas can't use anything like a Waves 360 Plugin for surround management, is there any way to setup bass management for 5.1 mixing? I know I can get it with an outboard bass management but would like to to use my current KRK monitor and Echo Audio cards, neither of which do surround bass management.

ProTools has the basic routing tools - but is there a way to do this is Vegas?

In the project properties open the audio tab and enable the low-pass filter on LFE.

AFAIK, That only affects renders - not monitoring. Vegas Help file is not 100% clear but I certainly don't hear it when playing back the timeline, only when rendered to AC3.

Duplicate your 5.1 audio track.

Right Click inside of the Surround Pan area and change to "LFE only".

Mute first audio and listen for what LFE is present.
