yes, I did. It's still crashing in the 64 bit version.

Report it to NewBlue and SCS. I've had some issues with it too. It was better after the update, but I haven't used it much since. I still have open tickets with both.
I had this problem too in V11 64bit -- but the new download on NewBlue seems to have fixed the problem for me. Loving that NewBlue Titler now ... Pretty cool.
To get the updated version, just download again from the same link. If you open the "About" screen and see build 111013, you need to update to the current version which is now 111024. In the future (after installing 111024), the "Check for Updates" option will also work.
I upgraded to the latest version of the Titler but it will not accept the original Serial # included with my SVP11 email from Sony? I cut and past the # into the box but the "Register Online" option stays grayed out. Is anybody else encountering this?
Turns out I already have the latest version. I've found it to be unstable at times. I recently added a title created with NB then made some copies at other places on my timeline. More than once (or 4!) times it caused Vegas to crash. Not every time I copied and pasted but randomly. Now I always save as soon as I paste in a title.
Also, found another annoyance with NB. After creating a title with the NB plugin and closing it, focus does not return to the Vegas window. It takes two mouse clicks in the timeline to get focus back there. Now, I haven't done an exhaustive test but I don't recall any other plugin working this way. Is there a way to report problems to NB or should I send it to Sony? Or, if your listening Vegas team, do you already know about this?
but the stand alone version will not let me register in manner you have described
There is no "Standalone" version of Newblue Titler Pro. The 111013 build did ship with the "Test Host" app that we use for TESTING the titler but it is NOT a "standalone" version and it WILL get a watermark if you run it.
Please uninstall Titler Pro, install the current version (build 111024) and you should no longer see "Test Host" listed in the Start menu.
If I had opened my eyes a little more I might have noticed it said test host in the start menu. I did install the latest version 111024 but I must not have uninstalled the previous version which left the test host still on my system.
Version 111024 did resolve the crashes I was experiencing with the 64-bit version of Vegas. Thank you for getting that fix out so quickly after VP11 was released.
What it comes down to in my experience is that some people think a certain way.
Not bad or good just a certain way.
Let's call those people left brained.
That manner of reasoning is the way they are wired.
What I see as not intuitive seems very reasonable to them, and they don't get that people like, right brained people, me miss it.
And so it shall always be from algebra to ashes.
I have been having a similar problem on Vegas Pro 11 x64. New Blue team has indicated that there is a problem with the ATI drivers but it looks like it is more of Vegas Pro 11 stability issue.
I did a factory reset, all driver updates and did a fresh install of Vegas Pro 11. This time I did not install the NB Titler Pro at all.
Vegas Pro 11 starts crashing after I use any of the GPU accelerated Video Fx. Once it crashes, VP-11 stops rendering as .mp4. The problem seems to be more with the Sony Vegas Pro software stability as well.
In Vegas 11 x64 I also had NewBlueFX crash even with the NewBlue update. After spending a fair amount of time on a title NewBlueFX crashed and I haven't been back to the titler since. I really like the NewBlueFX titler and I'm sure this will get sorted out, but maybe not until the Vegas 11a release.
I can't even edit a title created with this. It crashes virtually every time. I do have the latest version but I installed it over the old one. I will uninstall and reinstall and then report back.
Was experiencing the same thing until I tried the Beta Driver for my Nvidia GT440 -- and wow what a difference! I worked in the NB Titler for almost an hour doing everything I could think of to make Vegas go "Not Responding" and did not experience a singe hang or crash condition. IMHO the 285.79 beta driver is a "MUST HAVE" for 32/64 bit vs. of Vegas 11 running an Nvidia card.
I'll post back later after I've had more than an hour to play with it.
