Where to install the HD 11 extras?

The extras (graphics & music) came in a zip file with no readme. I suppose it ought to be obvious where I should extract these to, but I confess that it isn't to me. There are no existing aptly-named subfolders to the program folder. There is an HD 11 entry in the ProgramData folder, but it is empty.

Ideas?

Thanks,

Don

You can un-zip all that stuff to any folder you like. Just remember where it is because you will have to navigate to it to pick up any of the contents. The Sony software doesn't care(or know) where you put it.

I put them on desktop.

I always wondered about people putting things on the desktop. Seems like a very strange place to put stuff, at least to me. It just runs out of space for new icons way too quickly.

Here's the *maximum* amount of things i'll ever have on mine:

Most excellent! I thought I was the only one with an empty desktop. Actually I have 2 - since I have a dual monitor system. Perhaps we should start a club of Empty Desktoppers.

Well, i've got three laptops like that, two dual-monitor production boxes, two linux servers, and at work another dual-monitor workstation and another linux box ... all desktop icon-less. My boss looks at them and says, "how do you find anything?"

Thanks - I'll create an appropriate folder. However, the other replies have given me a (deserved) inferiority complex - I have 2 desktop icons (Computer & Recycle Bin) - totally cluttered! However, they are taking the big dirt nap tonight! I'll have an unfettered view of the London (my favorite city) Tube map.

Thanks to all,

Don
