screen freezes when installing acid 3.0 -ACID Product Family

Subject:screen freezes when installing acid 3.0 Posted by: dalek Date:10/4/2001 6:45:57 PM hey i just bought acidpro 3.0 and when i am trying to install it my screen freezes with thin lines crossing the screen. and ideas what's up? thanks please help

After you have the installer on your hard drive, restart Windows in safe mode. This can be done by pressing the "F8" key on your keyboard repeatedly as the computer is starting up (and before it loads Windows). In other words, you'll want to to this when the screen is mostly black just as you've turned on or restarted the computer. Then, run the installer you have on your desktop and restart your PC afterwards.
