Hi I have downloaded AcidXpress 7 from AcidPlanet but when I try and install, it fails with no messages. The down loaded file is "acidxpress70a.exe" and it's 45,101KB big. I'm trying to install it on Windows 7 starter SP1, and when I run it Windows asks if I want to allow it to make changes (which I answer yes), but then the program terminates with no messages and there are no apparent changes. I have down loaded a second copy of the acidxpress70a.exe, and it produces the same results. I do have Acid Pro installed on another (Vista) machine ok, I just want AcidXpress on this laptop machine for when I'm on the move. According to this link http://www.microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/Details.aspx?type=Software&p=ACID%20Xpress&v=Creative%20Technology&uid=7&l=en&pf=0&pi=7&c=Music%20%26%20MP3&sc=Media%20Players&os=64-bit&vd=all AcidXpress should work with 7 so I'm sort of stuck. Any help please ? |

Why not install your AcidPro license on your laptop? That way you'll have the same version running on both. |

Thanks for the response, but it doesn't really address my problem. I want to use AcidXpress so that my band colleagues can also download and use the same tool for free. Not sure this little laptop would adequately host Acid Pro either. |

have you tried running as Administrator? That might help, especially on a 64-bit OS. |
