I imported a 73 minute HDV MPEG-2 video into Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 10 for burning a Blu-Ray disc. This video was created with another editing program, and the video and audio are in perfect sync. MS10 converted the video into a m2v file and also converted the audio into a compatible file. I did a complete authoring with chapters and burned to a Blu-Ray disc. The disc burned ok, but when I played it back on a table top player, by the time it got to the end, the audio was out of sync by at least 2 seconds. Imagine a bird singing where as the song is heard and 2 seconds later the bird's bill starts moving.I burned another disc using another authoring program as an auto play with no chapters, and the sync is perfect, so I know it's not the burner. I'm using an LG external burner using XP SP3. I really want to use the Vegas DVD authoring program, but I haven't a clue to what's going on.
