can acid be controlled by external hardware, like the peavey 1600 or other midi controllers? , it would be nice to mix multiple volumes and pans in real time |

Hello: With the current version of Acid you would not be able to do this. Sorry for the bad news. |

You can route the outputs to a multi-output soundcard. Then you can go into a mixer and mix that way. A computer with an 8 channel adat out and an 01v with the adat card would be ideal for this. You could use an analog mixer though. Many people record with a DAW and mix with a mixer... Jim |

Thanks for the tip, I'm just switching to the pc format now, using a korg 1212 for the card and an adat to record, but don't have the automation of a digital mixer...digging into sonic foundry a little bit it looks like they are getting it ready for the hardware controllers.....that will be a big plus |
