I have to work on a music piece (played without metronome) and add loops on it. This music piece has some tempo variations. What i would like to do is: 1/ load the 'non metrnomic' music file into ACID, scan it manually measure after measure and put some markers at 1st time of each measure. 2/ choose this classic file as the 'master tempo (including tempo changes) 3/ add different loops that will follow the master tempo. I tried to do that with Beatmapper, but it seems that i cannot move tempo markers individually. Is there a way in Acid to do such a thing ? (I usually do that with Cakewalk Sonar, but i much prefer ACID (more fluent and i work much faster with ACID too..:-)) |

Access the clip's properties and click the "Stretch" tab for a Beatmapped clip. Double-click the topmost area above the waveform where you'd like to see tempo changes. Go to town. :) Iacobus |
