Subject:Recording old vinly to Sound Forge for CD burning

Help, I am a new user to Sound Forge/Cd Arch and I want
to load all of my old LP's to my computer. Please I need help with the process. I'm having trouble with
recording. My external connection is correct, getting
output throught my speakers. But no recording internally...............Help!

Goto the Help menu, select contents, click on "Help topics". Select "Using Sound Forge" and there is step-by-step instructions there on doing most everything.....read!!! :-)

The first thing you do is make sure your soundcard is selected in Sound Forge. Next, you must go to your soundcard's mixer and enable the "line in" and adjust the appropriate volume levels.

As for recording, make sure your levels NEVER exceed 0db FS on the meters.
