Subject:Auto -6.0 db when I import an audio file

In v.7 of ACID Music Studio, when I imported a .wav file, it would import at 0db. Now in v.8, it imports at -6.0 db. I don't want that to happen. In fact every time it does happen and I forget to set it back to 0.0, I begin to ruin my work.

Please tell me how it can default to 0.0

Check the Preview fader in the Mixing Console. Is it set to -6dB? If you set it to 0.0 then whatever audio you import should also be 0.0.

The Preview fader was already at 0.0. Yet, I dragged a new .wav into my project and it instantly went to -6.0
