Hello, thanks for opening this post.

I have one audio file that has many anomalies like this one:

https://rapidshare.com/files/2759756160/noise.wav

it's not noise, but i can't find any topic that helps you how to remove such sound. File is 35 minutes in length and on almost every second has one "click" - and manual removal will cost me nervs and time... so is there any way to remove those anomalies automatically? I've tried almost every plugin hat SoundForge offers with no success... Normal sound is persons speaking and this little clicks appears in background...

Thanks for any reply.

Have you tried the 'Click and Crackle' removal plug-in. (included in the NR-2 package?)
Without hearing it in conjunction with the 'good' audio, it's difficult to suggest anything or program a preset for you to try. Can you post a longer clip?

You might want to try Izotope rx - that works wonders with dirty audio; you just have to put some time into it and you may not get it all in one pass. The difficult thing is the clicks are different pitches which is what makes it difficult. Another good program is Bias SoundSoap.

Hi,

I can help you with this. Here's a quick attempt, which I should be able to improve on with more time and sample material:

If you are interested in me doing this work for you, drop me a line at iain@iainmorland.net.

Hello folks, thanks for reply.
I've figured it out - playing with "click and crackle" makes pretty awesome results - just like yours, iain :) Thank you all very much.
