Subject:Automap in Acid pro 7 Posted by: Tigamatic Date:10/6/2011 1:51:06 AM Hallo Every acid user :) Can you tell me why my automapped plugins is being ignored by my Acid sequencer ? The Novation Controller is fully working, and I have downloaded the latest automap update and also the latest update for acid. But when I have used the plugin manager in automap and acid, then acid put the automap plugins in the ignored. Hope you can help? Greetings from Denmark Tim

Chances are very high that it is simply not supported - hence your issues. Plus with Acid 7 bordering on "ancient" status now anyway - I can't really see Novation wasting any time looking back to 2008 (with their new Automap 4 offering) to support this product. Its just that, for about a year ago, I installed automap, without problem with Acid and automap.. But back then it was the controller that was the problem, but now that the Novation works, the new update for acid and automap is not working. Do you got any advise for what plugin controller I should buy instead?

And now you have installed (presumably) a newer version of Automap and it doesn't work? If this is the case - stick with your old version of AutoMap - since you know it works. Updates are not always a requirement.... VP

And honestly I gave up a year ago, because I didnt know much about making music in a sequencer. So now I would see if I could make it work, now when I knows a bit more.. A year ago it was automap 2.0.. (the version on the cd, that follows with Novation Nocturn)
