Subject:Hearing LIVE recording in Headphones

I recorded a backing guitar track. Now I want to record a new audio track. But I can't hear my singing live in the headphones. What am I doing wrong?

Look up 'Input Monitoring" in Help, or the manual.

Please fill out your system configuration in your user profile.

To monitor input you will need to use audio hardware that supply ASIO drivers. If your audio hardware has ASIO drivers and they are installed, the use Audio Device preferences in ACID to select these.

From the timeline, you enable input monitoring track by track. For the track youmare going to record to, right click on the track, locate the Input menu item, and select the appropriate mode.
