No it isn't. Vegas Pro is simply Vegas Pro, nothing else (word wise, that is).

Yep, was a huge mistake by Sony's marketing division to use the word "Pro" in the Movie Studio series. It's caused years of confusion of people buying a $140 product and then wondering why they don't have all the features of the $600 version, and getting rather mad about it.

Yes, like: is the
Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11 Pro
version the "real" 600$ pro version as compared to the probably simpler
Vegas Pro 11
no Movie no HD and no Platinum version?

Kindof when buying a fine cognac - is the Napoleon Grand General better than the Napoleon Petit Caporal ??

Yeah - yeah, I know. Couldn't help it :- ) - and really enjoy working with the real "Vegas Pro" every day btw.
