Subject:Acid Music Studio 8 and loops?

Hello, I'm looking for ways to build a library of royalty free music to use in wedding videos for the most part, so it has to be rather romantic music. I got some from Footage Firm from their free collections that you only pay shipping for, but they're just OK, nothing too great. Doing a search for royalty free music gives me a lot of websites with similar music, some better but those collections are priced well over $100. So I thought about music creation software. I'm not a musician, but I have a good ear for music. Now, I've never used any of the Acid products, so I thought I would ask here if my notion about this software is correct or not. It appears to me that from the description of Acid Music Studio 8 you can record your own instruments, so that would not help me because I don't play any. But I also think that you can create music using loop collections, right? And there's one collection that comes for free with it, is that right? So my question is, could I create reasonably decent instrumental music for wedding videos using Acid MS 8 with the loops that come with it, maybe with another loop collections that I'd have to purchase separately? Do some of these loops contain regular music, or are they all kind of electronica and dance music style? Thanks, Sebastian |
