I have had this happen when I try to use too many effects on a tune, especially if those effects come from programs such as Waves Gold Bundle. Are you putting the effects in as you compose, or are you taking the loop, going to Soundforge, adding the effect, doing a save as, then placing it back in Acid? I think that once you figure out, exactly what you want to do with a particular loop, that it is best to do it with this method. Delete the loop out of your mix, reopen it in Soundforge, add the effects, save as with a different name so as to not override the original loop and then paste it back in Acid. Also are you using these loops straight from a disc or are you saving them to your harddrive as you work on your mix. If you are trying to make changes from loops that haven't been saved as 'embedded' it may affect your ability to alter or change the particular loop. Good luck, if this doesn't work, yes please repost with more details about what you are trying to do. Maninblac4 |
