OK tried to go back VM wise - no swap on SSD and large swap on D .. performance seems a bit better. BUT THUMBNAILS are making me nuts...

Now thinking of Ghosts etc. - do you think a Ghost restore brings things back -even if I made changes to the SSD - is that all straight SW files? I assume so things were actually firmware changes to the SSD drive - That I actually may need to figure out what they are ..
most of my JPG folder are not showing me thumbnails - (or they show the first few and then get tired and just leave filename) but it is not consistent.

Now I keep setting the folders for Photos - and keep making sure that the
SHOW Icons and not thumbnails is NOT checked .. but it does not help.

No way to prove this, but it seems related to all this memory stuff ....
At first I thought it was related to only photos on remote /NAS drives ..
but even locally I am getting this

Any thoughts .. (besides the generic ones I get wit Google)?
