Subject:Multiple tracks = Sluggsigh Response

Hello,

I've been an ACID user since V1 many years ago and have upgraded with each release. Since purchasing ACID 7 I've had nothing but issues when adding more than 10+ tracks.
Scenario - if I load up more than 10 tracks - loops, live recordings, full song waveforms - the response becomes very slow - editing, zooming, envelope actions all become time consuming feats.
With past versions I've had 90+ tracks with FX, Envelope actions, etc.. - all with no response issues so I'm wondering if others have experienced this and if anyone has any suggestions on what it could be?

Side note: It's a 2 year old Quad Core, Intel, upgraded Video card and Ram last year. 3 new 2TB drives, 8GB ram, so the computer is not the issue. Also have updated ACID to the latest release of "e".

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
D

As a curiosity I took a project and copied and pasted a folder track (containing about 5 tracks of beatmapped recordings) a few times. Really no problems to speak of but then again the tracks were pretty bareboned; no effects or anything, just pure audio.

Anything running in the background? Audio interface?

Same here.
Also not a system issue.
I'm at 15 tracks.
Have to mute a few tracks to listen back.
Can't offer any help but wanted you to know it's not just you.
This is why people are quickly turning to fl studio.

Suggest check your audio interface hasn't somehow switched to a non-ASIO diver version.

Please fill out your system specs in your user profile and expose them.

What OS are you running?

What audio hardware and driver model are you using?
