I have clean dialog and music tracks. I want to either filter them or do some other trick to get them to sound old. Like from the 40s or an old record. Essentially the reverse of noise reduction. Any suggestions?

Opcode use to make a Vinyl/Noise additive plugin, don't know where you can get that one now that they're gone.

You can also try distorting the music, sampling your own old record sounds and apply them to your files.

Another great trick is to lower the level of your audio -50 to -60 dB and then convert to 8 bit, and then normalize and then convert it back to 16/24 bit. This will give it that dirty 8 bit sampled sound.
