Urgent help needed: how to edit flv?

megabit wrote on 8/28/2011, 5:47 AM
For my main business (CAE), I need to create sound tracks (voice overs) for a couple of corporate videos I only have in the .flv format; I though I could do it in Vegas but they cannot even be placed on the T/L.

Any free tool to convert them to something editable? Quality is not the main concern

TIA,

Piotr

Thanks a lot - this one works OK.

I posted my request after having tried several similar utilities, none of which worked - but instead, insisted on installing bloatware on my system... Brrr.

I'm on my Mac right now, but doesn't Handbrake allow you to quickly render FLV files into something that can easily be edited in Vegas?

I just tried Freemake, it does the job very nicely.
