Subject:Upgrading XP to Forge 5 wipes out ExpressFX?

I just purchased Sound Forge 5.0 this week and after I installed it, I discovered that all the ExpressFX plug-ins in XP and ACID 3 are now gone or, according to the dialog, "Certain features are not available in this version of ___." I have many tracks that use ExpressFX and now the plug-ins are gone...should I reinstall XP or ACID to get them back, or am I screwed? Thanks for your time and help. Roark of Sonorous Music |

As far as I know (and I'm a bit of a Sound Forge novice), Sound Forge only supports XFX, not express FX. You may want to consider reinstalling SF studio/XP for that material. |

Wrong. I have SF 5.0 and I have ALL of them installed as Direct-X plugins. The effects in SF5.0 are simply the newer and improved versions. |
