Can anyone recommend an honest recording studio that uses Acid pro 7 for mastering????

If you're looking to take your tracks elsewhere for mastering, you might want to render each track separately as WAVs using the "save each track as a separate file" option under File > Render As on the menu bar.

Although there is no reason why one couldn't use Acid for mastering(apart from the superfluous and potentially distracting 'beat-related' functionality), typically one use a 2-channel audio editing program.

Honest ?!! Have you heard of problems with dishonest recording studios ?

And Izotope do have excellent mastering tools. 4 are bundled with Sound Forge, specifically aimed at mastering.

i prefer to master in Acid now, than 2 tracking. It would be the same for me if i was using protools.

when you believe you got a good mix and you add your master e.q. than a limiter(L2 ,L3,brainworx bx, fabfilter pro L,uad precision limiter etc.)add 6 db of limiting and your mix shifts, the louder you try to make your song the more fine adjustments you make to your mix.

Thanks people, and as far as dishonest recording studios i haven't had really too many problems other then them taking their time(a little bit) on my dime.I have been a musician and writer for years but never bothered to learn the recording and technical aspect of it all, didn't have too. so after all the gigs and fun I finally broke down(quitting drinking helped) and built a home recording studio in my house to lay my compositions down on some tracks.I'm doing better then I thought I would. I would love to know the art of finding that sweat spot When EQing my tracks. You tube is a God sent, and of course this forum. If anyone has any tips on a good book on mixing and mastering to buy it would be much appreciated.thanks again Marc.
