Has anyone really used Sonar w/ Acid? I like sonar's audio/midi capabilities and all the plug-ins that come with it but im not lettin go of my ACID! I know it can read acd files, but would it be possible to open acd projects w/ all the edits/chops/pans/vol, etc? I have an EMU Proteus 2000, 1 midi chanel from ACID just wont cut it, any suggestions? Still a newbie at this so please forgive my ignorance. Peace and Love to all! |

ACID does not have the limitation of 1 MIDI channel! ACID can play as many MIDI tracks with as many MIDI channels as you'd like. You can have as many Sofsynth routed tracks as your CPU can support. ACID can communicate and stream MIDI to a max of 32 different external MIDI ports. Each of these MIDI ports can handle the max 16 MIDI channels allowed by the MIDI spec. With clever use of channels and MIDI track, you can combine many, many different voicings and routings to your external MIDI gear. Peter |
