I have recently installed X-press 3.0, having been a heavy user of v2.0 - I am unsure whether the unstable response to 3.0 is bugs or if I need to reinstall.

Main problem is Saving files (crashing system) and playback of project is rarely getting thorugh track without getting "stuck on a groove"

Be great if someone can help. My sympathies to all American people in this tragic time, from Sydney, Australia. Thanks

Hello again,

Still not sure what your proc. speed is, x86 is an architecture not a speed, as example, they had 486 then 586, pentium, pentium II, pentium III, and so on. But anyway I think the minimum requirement went up from what was required in version 2, and you might need a faster proc. You could also try raising your buffer setting in options then audio tab. But you do have a good ram amount.
So try the buffer and if that doesn't work try to get the MHz value of your proc. And get back to us.

Well that's good speed. But get more ram, Best Buy has it for $20.00 to $30.00 for 128Meg.
