Can someone please tell me of a way to Stop the Extract Regions dialogue automatically populating the File Name Prefix field with the name of the file? I just want the region names without a prefix. I can't count the number of times I've exported regions only to realise they have the file name prefix because I forgot to delete it. Not user friendly!

You may change 'some' the parameters in "Options> Preferences> Labeling", 'Region Labels'. I see nothing to change the file name though.
Search or ask in the SF 'Scripting' forum.

Addendum: Leave the Prefix blank in the above 'Region Labels', then just append the 'File name Prefix' when using Extracting Regions process.

please point to a help page or tell me how to find/activate the "extract regions" function in SF studio 10c. Thanks!
