Hello friends,

you helped me a lot (especially >roblesinge<, thank you dude) and i have question (again :D ):

is possible to find same sound in one or more files? Like take sample and tell sound forge "find me same sound like this one, and mark all of them for me"...

i don't know WHAT to search, so i must asking :)

I don't think this is possible with sound forge -- it's very hard to implement -- but there is something a bit like it in Magix Sequoia:

As far as built-in functionality, not that I'm aware of. This is more complicated than it sounds. If the samples you're talking about are identical, it might be possible with scripting, but the algorithm would be quite complicated and the implementation would be a hefty undertaking.

Not at all likely to be accomplished with scripting since scripting is unaware of the contents of the media file.

Youtube has ways to recognize comparative audio content via fuzzy algorithms and a presumably monstrous database, but it's not always correct (they incorrectly identified audio content on one of my uploads). They won't tell you how they do it, but the web will give some hints.
Best of luck.
