If u are using IDE CD Drive try to put it as master of its bus( Primary or Secondary)
Usually this error occurs in IDE CD's if they~re put as slave

Another suggestion would be to render your project to a stereo .wav file (mix your project down). Then open a blank project bring in your mixed down .wav file and then try to burn it.

If your project is complex enough that your computer is unable to render it in real-time, you can work around it by rendering your project to a WAV file, then dropping that file into a new project. Do not beatmap the file, and make sure the level faders at the track and bus levels are not applying unnecessary gain. Then, just burn your CD as normal.

If you are talking about bufferrun in general too. It helps to increase your disk cache [which determines cd-r buffers in windows]

goto RUN
type SYSTEM.INI

Add or copy this line somewhere in the middle
(view some tweaking web pages for your OS if you want)

[vcache]
MinFileCache=1024
MaxFileCache=102400
ChunkSize=512

Or if you run something like cacheman just increase your disk cache settings.
