Subject:Acid Pro 3.0c--More stable? It is for me.

Much has been said here about various technical glitches in acid 3.0. I have downloaded the C-level patch and found it took care of the one glitch I had--inability to preview some sounds correctly. Has anyone else applied this patch with good results? It would be nice if this addressed many of the instabilities I read about. Sadly, it is a big hog of a patch--apparently a full product replacement at 20+ meg. |

It fixed some things for me too (like the mono loops not previewing correctly like you had mentioned) and keeps getting a little better each time with each update. The best thing I've heard to do is uninstall your old version and install the "patch" (which, like you said, is actually the full version). Be sure to keep your serial number(s) handy. Now if they could just get rid of that blasted "Error Invalid UserID" message when trying to register online through ACID's registration wizard there, it'd be a perfect world. Iacobus |
