Subject:5.0d record problem

I use Sound Forge 5.0a and I never had record problems in 16-bit mode. After upgrading to 5.0d,when I try to record I get message "an unknown error occured creating the pcm". Do you have solution for that problem?

Not a definite solution, but you might uninstall and reinstall the 5.0d update with no prior version of 5.0 on the machine. Also, update sound card drivers.

Hi,

What model of sound card are you using? What OS? Have you updated the sound card's drivers to the latest available for your OS recently?
