Hi, I have Acid Music Studio 8.0. I'm teaching myself to play drums. On my domestic CD player I can hear the drum parts more clearly if I turn on the bass boost. If I record a CD track into Acid 8 am I able to add bass boost to the recording? Also can I use some graphic equalizer effect to enhance the bass boost? I might like to record, 20 seconds of drumming from a CD and would like that 20 second segment to be repeated say 6 times to last 2 minutes so I can play along and work out the drum beat. Folks got any ideas how I can do these things? Cheers, Pete. |

As long as the CD player in question outputs what you hear in its speakers to the line or headphone output, you should hear the bass boost. It's just a matter of connecting your CD player to your computer's audio interface recording input and ensuring that input is chosen for recording in ACID. Insert an EQ at the track level. I believe any digital audio track has one automatically inserted into the chain but everything is set flat. Iacobus |

After I posted, I realised about recording the bass boost from the CD player, obvious really. " Insert an EQ at the track level. I believe any digital audio track has one automatically inserted into the chain but everything is set flat." I just had a quick look at Acids online help but couldn't find any reference to EQ. Could you elaborate please? Cheers, Peter. |
