How do I return a product to Sony Creative? They're ignoring my email and support request and I'm extremely reluctant to buy anythig else from them until I get an answer. The issue is the software they sold me is corrupted. They're actually breaking the law. |

When you say corrupted - what exactly do you mean? The disc is physically corrupted (scratched, cracked, the data can't be read off the disc)? If it's one of these that's the only way you can get a replacement disc. Once the software box is opened and installed on your computer you cannot return the software, no matter what the problem (except for what I mentioned above). There's no company anywheres that will allow you to return opened software for cash except to get a replacement disc. Are you saying the software is buggy? What problems are you having? If you would care to mention what you're having a problem with then maybe we can help you. Don't just come on here and rant. Jack |

Download another copy. Its doubtful that you received a corrupted version on a disc but regardless you'd need to download the latest update in order to experience the minimal amount of bugs. There lies the rub. Sony's apps are large in size and its not uncommon for a file to become corrupted during the download process, especially on a slow modem. Its happened to me a few times over the many years I've used their products. |

How long have they ignored your support request ? Just over the weekend, or longer ? Did you receive an email confirmation that your support request was logged - if not, then something stuffed up somewhere and you should re-log it. In the meantime, or to obviate the necessity for a response, simply download the latest version from here [link]http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/updates/acidpro . Your existing s/n off the box should work fine, assuming you are talking about a boxed version. geoff |
