Event Length Bug During Split -ACID Product Family

Subject:Event Length Bug During Split Posted by: flashkube Date:5/30/2011 6:13:23 PM I have discovered that Acid 8 has a bug when I try to split a single midi track that is more than 7 minutes long. When I try to connect the two new events the program crashes and sends an error report to Sony (which doesn't work by the way...it never contacts the Sony server). Has anybody else had this problem? What is the workaround? My midi track is a piano track with the sustain pedal in it. If I shorten it to say 3 minutes, for example, I can split it and connect to the two events after deleting the one in the middle. It took me two months to figure out what was causing this bug. Bad Sony! How are you going to fix it? Dave
