Long shot, but does anyone know where to get the available updates for SF v5.0?

I have this and have been using with the long lost "direct mode" but need really to update to the last version of v5 - was it like the 4.5 versions of :

5.0d, 5.0e, 5.0f etc?

I know it was Sonic Foundry possibly back then, but surely the updates must be freely available somewhere? - cant see them on this site, even though 4.5 is shown?

Sony has abandoned SF5 for whatever reason. Sonic Foundry might have done it as well. Last version was 5.0f. If you need it, shoot me a message. I still have it.

I have Sound Forge XP Studio 5. Same problem..Can anyone help?

Do you still have the SF 5.0f update file? I still have version 5.0b Build 102 on an older system and I would like to update it to v5.0f.

I still have the file, but am hesitant to post it anywhere for legal reasons. Sony/Sonic Foundry pulled it for a reason, but don't know why. I'm not going to take that chance. Why are you using such an old unsupported operating system anyway?

For this particular reason, I am using this on an older Dell Optiplex GX150 that I use for Halloween haunts. (Orig had Win 98se now it has Win XP).

For some reason, I was thinking where are the Sound Forge 5 updates and I could not find any. Sony (Sonic Foundry) went from XP 4.5 to 6 and never even mentioned 5.

I am on an older system for a specific reason and I would like to update it to the latest version.

I would like to update my version but since they pulled it, I went for a search on the forums and came across your message that you still kept the exe file.

I would like to know the reason SONY is acting like they do not know what happened to version 5 of Sound Forge. PLUS, if you look at the Preset Manager information it mentions that older .sfx files are not compatible but us users should use Sound Forge v5 to load up the presets then save it out again so the new Preset Manager can use it. So, it would be nice if I could get this update to Sound Forge.

That is the reason why I am asking for this update file and Yes, this version works well but I would like the last update to it.
