Processing Audio on DV AVI files in batch converter 5 -Sound Forge - PC

I have some DV files that I want to process ONLY the audio on. I'm making them mono files & then resampling them to 48Khz. The problem is when put the output settings to "Same as source file" for all, it gives me there status message next to the file that "no compatible codec was found". If I change the file format to "Convert to" and then make it a DV avi it works fine. My only problem with this way is that I'm not sure if it recompresses the DV video, which of course I don't want. I haven't done this kind of conversion, but are you using Batch Converter 5 or 5a? If you're using 5, download the update and see if that works for you.
