I pad 2 seems to be the way many people are going can it work with Sony products Acid Pro,Vegas Pro and Sound Forge.Trying to make my studio 100% mobile I do Sound Design and Production have used Acid since Acid 2.I use Acid and Acid loops with Reason / Record as re-wire together with Pro Tools to bring my material to market

If it did, it would probably be pretty basic in function. (Kind of like how Adobe made a Photoshop app that's not quite as fully-powered as its bigger cousin.)

Could see some interoperability though, kind of like how Adobe is developing tablet apps that interact with the computer version of Photoshop. (Like selecting Photoshop tools from your tablet, an interactive mixing palette, etc.)
