everytime i change the apearance (start/control panel/display: apearance tab)
the toolbar buttons disapear

they blend with the color of the window

IT WORKS UNDER ANY WINDOWS 98 DESKTOP THEME BUT NOT WITH THE ONES I CREATE

i want it dark so it doesn't wear my eyes out

(the buttons are visible with bright colors)

Some of the desktop themes cause this to happen. Use Windows Standard or something similar for the best results.

oh i should mention, they did fix the bug in acid 3 but of course acid 3 wont run on any computer i have ever seen it installed on, including brand new p4 1.5 ghz and athlon 1.4 ghz machines. that is to say, it won't run _my_ songs on any machine because i use too many disk based audio tracks and it won't let me load them into ram.

ACID will only load the audio into RAM if the track is at or shorter than 3 seconds. Longer than that and it's treated as a Beatmapped (disk-based) track.

Guess we're going to have to wish for this in a future update/release for those of us with a large amount of RAM.

Remember that ACID is not a multitrack in the truest sense; Vegas Audio holds that honor. SF even suggests to use no more than 4 or 5 disk-based tracks at a time in ACID (depending on your system).
