Down loaded 'free' plug-ins and it screwed things up for a while until I got rid of most of them. But I need to know how to delete them where the Acid effects,plug-ins and vst's window is.DAW is still loading very slow(but at least loading now)so if I can get the remainder of the ones that are left,it will probably fully return.I will NEVER load anything 'free' again !!.Thanks Marc.

Delete the XML cache at:

(Under Vista)

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Sony\ACID Pro\7.0

(The AppData folder is usually hidden so you may have to reveal it under Organize > Folder and Search Options > View tab if you haven't done so already.)

I believe you'll have to rebuild your VSTs (like pointing ACID back to your VST plug-in folder) when you do this. Be sure no DLLs exist for the soft synths you don't want and that they are uninstalled properly.
