I am having a heck of time trying to get my MASCHINE to control anything in ACID.

My situation:

Maschine 1.6
Sony ACID PRO 7
WINDOWS 7
DRUMCORE 3.0

I see my MASCHINE triggering in ACID ( meters are corresponding ) and am getting some feedback (lights) in DrumCore. But, the problem I am having is not getting in audio, I'm sure it's my routing but I've never had a good batting average with the whole MIDI thing.

My current routing is:
1. MASCHINE configured as MIDI controller
2. Soft Synth Opened - DrumCore 3.0
3. (1) General MIDI Channel settings -
4. Set MIDI IN - AUTO:ALL
5. Set MIDI OUT - DRUMCORE 3
6. ??? Is there something I have to do with a bus and this is where I hear sizzling in my head. ;-) and No Audio

An alternative #1 routing attempt:

4. MIDI IN - MASCHINE ( Meters still respond )
5. MIDI OUT - DrumCore
6. No Audio

#2 Alternative Routing

4. MIDI IN - MASCHINE ( Meters still respond )
5. MIDI OUT - MASCHINE
6. No Audio

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong....

I take it the alternatives you listed actually have MASCHINE transmitting on, say, MIDI channel 1? Have ACID's MIDI input set at channel 1 as well?

If you have the MIDI input set to "Auto", make sure the track in question has focus (by simply clicking on it).
