When I first installed Sound Forge, everything was fine. But a few days ago, something happened to my recording and I cant figure it out for nothing. Anyhow, it used to work fine, but now whenever I try and record anything, it comes ou so low that I can barely see it or hear it. I know the answer is most likely right in my face, but I dont know what the heck happened, can somone please help, thanks in advance. |

Try this: Open the Windows volume control by double clicking the yellow speaker icon by your computer's clock. Once the play control window comes up, go to the Options menu and select "Properties". Select "Recording" under "Adjust Volume For" and where it says "Show the Following Volume Controls", make sure everything is selected. Now click "OK" and you will get a recording control window. Under each volume control is a box marked "Select". Make sure that the one under the desired source is selected and that the volume is turned up about three quarters of the way. If the music is too loud or quiet when you record it, you can come back to this window and adjust the volume as necessary. Ted |
