Does anyone have a controller template for MASCHINE for use with ACID PRO 7 that they are willing to share? |

Not here, sorry. Do you just want to setup basic controls like record, play, etc.? You could set up a generic controller from within ACID itself. (You just have to have ACID "learn" the controls.) Iacobus |

Yeah, I've done the basic transport controls using the "learn" function. I'll see what else I can do and build out the template that I have a little more. |

Options > Preferences on the menu bar. Select the "External Control & Automation" tab. Under "Available devices," select, "Generic Control," then click the Add button. Next, double-click the generic control under the active devices list. If you want to, say, assign a button to play from your MIDI device, select, "Transport," from the "view function group" drop-down. Click the "Transport.Play" host command in the list. Ensure that the "Learn" checkbox is checked and your chosen device for MIDI input is selected under the drop-down at the bottom. Press the button on your MIDI device. The "Transport.Play" host command should now be filled in with the data needed. OK your way out. Enable the external control by clicking Options > External Control. You'll see external control enabled on the Mixing Console by a colored horizontal line for any tracks affected. Press the button on your MIDI controller that you assigned to playback. The project should now playback. |
