If I click on a bus and then click on an audio track, the bus remains selected. If I move the bus fader the audio fader also moves. This of course is very dangerous when mixing so assume it is a bug. I have Acid Pro 7e. Björn Message last edited on6/16/2010 5:30:40 AM bybjorn. |

I can repro but the results seem conditional; I have to be in the Mixer window itself making adjustments to do it. If I do it in the track and bus track view, everything's fine even with both the audio track and bus track selected. (Press B to bring up the bus track.) Iacobus |

To be clear, I don't think it's a bug; rather, I think it's a functionality. If you "gang" faders together in the Mixer by selecting them then ACID's assuming you want to move their faders together in the Mixer itself. (This is what I would expect anyway.) I would use the unselect all command before doing anything within the Mixer while it has focus. (Ctrl + Shift + A is the command.) |

I don't agree. Faders should not be possible to gang in this way. If you have both busses and audio tracks displayed in the mixer window it works correctly. Clicking on a track or a bus removes focus from any other. If I have the audio tracks in the upper left then focus remains there when I select a bus in the mixer window and the result is unintentional "ganging". If I want to "gang" I use Ctrl-Click, nothing else. |

Hi again, Time for me to mix some new recordings. It is sad to see that we still have version 7.0e and no bug fixes in sight. I really love Acid but this sucks. I will have to try Reaper... |
