SF can save .rm files but can't open them. Does anybody knows where is the plug-in for opening .rm files? |

Real Media files are secure and cannot be opened by most applications. There is probably no legal way to open these files. Ted |

Check out Total Recorder at http://www.HighCriteria.com *As far as I know*, it is legal. |

The drawback is that it is realtime. So if you have 20 minutes of rm files, it will take you 20 minutes to capture them in order to convert. NOTE: You could do the same thing with most multimedia sound cards - i.e. SoundBlaster - by routing the output to the input using the Windows mixer and Sound Forge. Peter |

There is an accelerate mode in Total Recorder that gives silent playback. It is very fast - dependant upon the parameters of your particular PC. There is also an option to make "gapless" recordings for those times when network congestion starts and stops the file from playing. |
