i had a project that i worked on in the trial version of AMS 8 which has since expired and i now i have opened the same project in my purchased AMS 8. everything is just as i left it, but it won't play. i click the transport play button and it depresses but the cursor will not advance. tried the spacer bar. tried reboot. project will not play. any clues? anything to do with this having been a trial version project? anything i need to unlock or something?

thanks much!
david

What audio hardware are you using?

What driver model are you using in AMS?

Do you have the latest drivers for you audio hardware?

If you start a fresh project and add some loops, does playback work?

If you select a file in the AMS explorer, and click the preview button, does it play?

Sounds like something is not configured correctly.

Much of this is covered in the help files.

You check your device driver mode in preferences - audio device.

There are many ways to configure audio on Windows. Make sure that you have Windows configured first is important.

You should contact our tech support directly if you cannot work it out.
