Subject:Need a Sony Acid Teacher - Will Pay Posted by: flashkube Date:4/25/2011 5:56:53 AM I've been struggling to figure out how to use Acid for more than a year now and still cannot edit a piano piece I've recorded in order to fix my mistakes. I would like to hire somebody to teach me because the forums here are not very active (I'll be lucky if anybody even reads this post) and no matter how many times I phrase my question I just cannot seem to be able to communicate what I am doing wrong and to get back a response that has something to do with my issue. I am willing to pay for airfare, hotels, meals, and two days worth of instructions to the person who will come to my town and help me. Since it is Washington, DC, you could get some site seeing in at the same time for free. Thank you.

Have you tried asking at Guitar Center and or posting a 3 by 5 card on their bulletin board. And put a Sony Acid Music Studio Help Wanted ad in a couple of any free local newspapers or ad papers in DC. Also try contacting a computer music software club. No clubs in my town, but the nearest large city to me has a couple. You also may be able to find someone willing to help you via webcam via Skype or some kind of video chat. If your piano piece live recorded audio of a real piano? Or simply a midi file you want edited in Acid? I am too busy here with paid gigs to leave town. But am happy to help long distance online. Each piece of music software is different and has its own learning curve. Hang in there, Acid Music Studio 8 is a very powerful piece of music and audio software. I am a woman in Florida, very knowledgeable, using Acid since version 2.0, composer and expert level user. Excellent teacher and music mentor. Refences available and music posted on acidplanet. Would be glad to help you if you need help. We can work remotely if you like, but if you need hands on, that is fine. Have a mobile studio that I can bring to demonstrate the latest version of Acid Pro.
