hi everyone, i began work on a project in the Acid MS 8 trial version which expired and now i have purchased and installed Acid MS 8 and tried to reopen the proj only to find that it is now saved in my Vegas MS 10 program. does anyone know how can i get it cleanly back over into Acid? i've put some hours in on this project. thanks! david |

? Vegas projects have the .VF extension, whereas ACID projects have the .ACD extension. AFAIK, Vegas cannot save projects as ACID projects and vice versa. Look for .ACD files on your system. Iacobus |

yeah, all the weird stuiff happens to me : ) (but no kidding all my tracks were arranged perfectly on the audio tracks of Vegas) i searched the ACD extension and found where the trial version project was saved. i opened it and re 'saved as' where i wanted it. but the thing won't play now! i'm staring at the whole project, everything just as i left it, i click the transport play button and it depresses but the cursor will not advance. tried the spacer bar. tried reboot. project will not play. any clues? anything to do with this having been a trial version project? thanks, david |

That's the most bizarre thing I've heard in awhile. Out of curiosity, can you render the project to a format like WAV or MP3? |
