I just picked up Acid Pro 3.0 for $149.00 I saw a few other boxes marked at $199.00. I saw Sound forge marked at $149.00 and also at $299. I should pick up Soundforge at the 149 price before they catch it!. Besides the Price I really like having the Pro version vs Acid Music!

Check the weight of the boxes. The expensive ones have the written manual. Other than that I don't think there is a difference.

I bought mine for $150 at Best Buy as well... Mine had a command key book, but no written manual.. I think that's the difference...

Well if you look at what they are selling the program on their site it is $349.00 if you download it. So I doubt the manual is another $150.00. Like I said I seen the software in 2 different sections the others were marked at $199, same thing with Sounde forge 5.0 $399 and $149 scattered around

They're selling Acid Pro 3.0 new in box on eBay for $150 so you know they react to what's available out there for the same price. The SF site prices are always a joke--a little digging on the net generally gets you a 50%+ price reduction.
