Subject:Opening MP3 files in SF5.0 vs SF4.5

I am able to open & save MP3 files in SF4.5g. When I try the same file
in SF5.0 I get an error message. On the other hand I am able to save a wav file as a MP3
in SF5.0. Am I missing something, or do I need a patch, or what?

Wow, that's weird. I get the exact same opposite problem. Sometimes I can't open some MP3 files in v4.5 and receive an error message, and then I am able to open the exact same file using 5.0. You should be able to save a Wave as an MP3 in version 4.5, with no problem. I believe the latest version is 4.5h. You might want to try that version.
