I have a mic hooked up to the mic input of my sound card (SB Live! 1400) but I have a slight problem when recording into acid. I use it's record and play feature, but instead of it just recording the mic to a new track, it records the mic and everything else going on in Acid to the new track. =\ Would anyone know of a solution to this? Seems like it'd just be something like adjusting settings in the sound card's mixer software, but I could be wrong. Thanks a lot. |

Thats EXACTLY what it is. Go to your volume controls, make sure that under OPTIONS, "ADVANCED CONTROLS" is selected, then enter the PROPERTIES page, make sure that EVERY BOX under both PLAYBACK and RECORDING are ALL checkmarked... Then select RECORDING and hit OK.. You will either have "All" or "MIX" or "What U Hear" or some title like that for one of your volume bars. Turn that sucker OFF. Make sure that the ONLY thing you're recording is LINE IN or MIC IN. PLAYBACK may have diffrent settings that relate to the same. Hope that helps! -MusiChad |
